Digicust can automatically classify goods as you process your customs declarations with us. The system uses goods descriptions (e.g. from invoices), shipper information, weight information, etc. to accurately classify goods up to the 11th digit.

To automatically classify goods as you process customs declarations, activate the following options in the execution strategy settings:

The following strategies are available for classifications:

  • Classify and replace: Will automatically classify all goods and overwrite extracted tariff numbers.

  • Classify only where missing: Will automatically classify goods where no tariff number is found.

  • Classify and suggest: Will automatically classify all goods, but instead of overwriting extracted tariff numbers will suggest to the user. The user has the final say which tariff number to consider.
